Poker Hands Explained - Poker UK.

This page shows the hands that you can achieve from five card poker and the chance of obtaining them. The hands are listed from the highest to the lowest. I would strongly advise you studying this if you don't know it already!

1. Royal Flush: 1 in 649,739 Hand Dealt.
(E.g. A, K, Q, J, 10) all of the same suit. A hand everyone that plays poker strives for and the reason we play this game.

2. Straight Flush: 1 in 72,192 Hand Dealt.
Any five card sequence in the same suit. (E.g. 7, 8, 9, 10, J and 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of same suit). You could take this hand straight to the bank.

3. Four of a Kind: 1 in 4,164 Hand Dealt.
All four cards of the same rank (E.g. K, K, K, K). A magnificent hand when you get it.

4. Full House: 1 in 693 Hand Dealt.
Three of a kind combined with a pair (E.g. J, J, J, 5, 5). Many rounds have been won and lost on a hand like this, but mostly won.

5. Flush: 1 in 508 Hand Dealt.
Any five cards of the same suit, but not all in sequence. No need to be embarrassed with this hand.

6. Straight: 1 in 254 Hand Dealt.
Five cards all in sequence, but not of the same suit.

7. Three of a Kind: 1 in 46 Hand Dealt.
Three cards of the same rank.

8. Two pair: 1 in 20 Hand Dealt.
Two separate pairs (E.g. 5, 5, Q, Q).

9. Pair: 1 in 4 Hand Dealt.
Two cards of the same rank (A, A).

10. Highest Card: 1 in 2 Hand Dealt.
Highest card in your hand.
